ANA•LITK, formally Communicate By Design-X, Cuts the Ribbon with Local Chambers of Commerce On Their New Name

Sterling, VA, Oct 2022—ANA•LITK held several ribbon-cutting ceremonies and receptions with local chambers of commerce, including the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, to finalize their transition from Communicate By Design-X (cbd-x) to ANA•LITK.

According to ANA•LITK’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jennifer Ferraro Randolph, the change has been a long time coming.

“I can’t tell you how many meetings I’ve gone to where they’ve been disappointed that I didn’t bring any special brownies.” Jennifer Ferraro Randolph remarked at the event.

They decided to change their name after getting too many calls asking whether they sold CBD products. In a speech at the event, Asim Shaikh, ANA•LITK’s Chief Executive Officer, said,

“Our company helps businesses identify weaknesses in their brand and then creates strategies to strengthen them. When diagnosing brands, we frequently ask them and their clients what their brand communicates, and when there is a disconnect, we know there is a problem.

“After all those confusing calls and meetings, we had to take our own advice. We got to work brainstorming ways to distinguish our brand as separate from the cannabis industry, unique from our industry peers, AND communicate our organization’s heart and soul. After all, that is what a brand does.”

The award-winning firm started the renaming project in 2020 and formally announced the change in July of this year. When asked about the process for the project, Jennifer Ferraro Randolph, ANA•LITK’s Chief Marketing Officer, explained,

“We approached this project as we do for our clients, with research. During the naming phase, we started with over ten names, and originally we all liked the same name. However, after some research, we found that we could not use that name due to market concerns. But failure has a lot to be said about it. That failed name was the launch pad for some new ideas, including ANA•LITK.”

After speeches by Asim Shaikh, ANA•LITK’s Chief Executive Officer, and Tony Howard, Loudoun Chamber of Commerce’s President, the ribbon was cut, and confetti was popped. As a parting gift and final goodbye to the company’s old name, ANA•LITK gave out goodie bags with those long-awaited (not so special) brownies and gummies.
